Schema Markup Generator
A schema markup generator creates JSON-LD code that tells search engines and AI assistants exactly what your page is about. Pick FAQPage, HowTo, Article, Organization or LocalBusiness, fill in the form, and copy valid code with live checks for missing required fields. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is stored.

How it works
- Choose the schema type that matches what the page actually shows: an FAQ, a guide, an article, your company or a local business.
- Fill in the form. The JSON-LD preview updates as you type, and required fields are marked.
- Click Generate & check for a completeness score, then copy the code into your page and confirm it with Google's Rich Results Test.
Why it matters for AI search
Structured data turns your page into clear facts: who wrote it, what the business is, which questions it answers. Search engines use it for rich results, and it gives AI systems unambiguous details to work with. Markup only helps when it matches the visible content of the page.
Frequently asked questions
What is schema markup?
Schema markup is structured data, usually written as JSON-LD, that describes the content of a page using the shared vocabulary at schema.org. It lets search engines and other machines read facts such as the author, the business address or a list of questions and answers.
Where do I paste the JSON-LD code?
Paste it into the page's HTML, ideally in the head section, or into an HTML block in your editor. SEO plugins like Rank Math also let you add custom schema. Use one script tag per schema block.
Will schema markup guarantee rich results or AI citations?
No. Valid markup makes your page eligible for some search features and easier for machines to interpret, but search engines and AI assistants decide what to show. Google now limits FAQ rich results to a small set of sites and no longer shows HowTo rich results.
Do you store what I enter?
No. This generator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to our server.
